Laramide Resources (ASX:LAM) said its unit, Tackle Resources, has secured a Mineral Development License (MDL) for the Westmoreland uranium project in Queensland, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

The approval enables Laramide to proceed with permitting, feasibility studies, metallurgical testing, and other work required for a future mining lease application, the filing said.
