The shares of Fortescue (ASX:FMG) rose over 2%, and Mineral Resources (ASX:MIN) jumped 3%, along with Champion Iron(ASX:CIA), which gained nearly 3%, in recent trading on Monday, after the iron ore price jumped past $97 per tonne last Friday.
