Strickland Metals (ASX:STK) said assays from ongoing diamond drilling at the northern end of the Gradina deposit at the Rogozna gold-base metals project in Serbia returned high-grade gold intercepts, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The drilling encountered intercepts of 19.6 meters at seven grams per tonne grade of gold from 377 meters, as well as 10 meters at 2.8 g/t grade of gold from 386.9 meters.
The firm now has eight rigs operating at the project, with four rigs currently drilling at the deposit to support the delivery of a maiden mineral resource estimate later this year.
