Amplia Therapeutics (ASX:ATX) has raised about AU$25 million via the placing of shares at AU$0.23 per share, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The placement raised AU$22.3 million via the issue of 57,937,087 shares under listing rule 7.1 and 38,867,267 shares under listing rule 7.1A.
Further, a total of AU$2.5 million, or nearly 10.9 million shares, were issued to two existing shareholders, while around AU$235,000, or around 1 million shares, were issued to company directors, subject to shareholder approval.
The offer price is 19.3% discount to the company's closing price on July 18, the filing added.
The new shares are expected to settle on July 28.
The company also plans to undertake a share purchase plan to raise up to AU$2.5 million at the same price, with the ability to accept oversubscriptions for up to an additional AU$7.5 million, subject to shareholder approval.
Proceeds will be used to fund the company's trials, operations, and working capital.
Shares of the company fell 5% in recent Wednesday trade.
