Zefiro Methane Corp.'s subsidiary, Plants & Goodwin Inc. (P&G), has secured a new service contract from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) for an orphan well plugging project in Morrow County, Ohio. The project, known as Morrow 8, involves plugging four orphan wells in Washington and Perry townships, as well as excavating and securing two wells in Gilead and Perry townships, with a winning bid of USD $522,233. This award follows P&G's recent success in securing other significant contracts in Ohio, highlighting its expanding role in environmental remediation in the state. Luke Plants, Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Zefiro and CEO of P&G, emphasized the importance of these efforts in addressing the unplugged well crisis near densely populated areas, contributing to the cleanup of valuable land, water, and air resources.
