VINCI Energies has announced the signing of an agreement to acquire the Romanian group EnergoBit, a key player in electrical infrastructure. This acquisition, pending approval by relevant authorities, will enhance VINCI Energies' presence in Romania, where it has been active since 2007. EnergoBit, founded in 1990 and headquartered in Cluj-Napoca, generated a revenue of €100 million in 2024 with 825 employees across eight locations. The move aims to capitalize on Romania's growing needs for energy transition and infrastructure modernization, with EnergoBit renowned for its engineering and installation expertise in electrical substations and other energy solutions. This acquisition will also expand the reach of the Omexom brand in Romania, strengthening VINCI Energies' footprint in the country.
