Strata Minerals (ASX:SMX) is set to resume drilling at the Penny South project in Western Australia in about two weeks, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The diamond drilling program will follow up on the results reported from the maiden drilling program to test down dip of mineralized interval associated with quartz sulfide vein, and down-plunge zone of gold mineralization, the filing said.
The results will help determine the final drill collar location of the planned government co-funded drill program to test for down-plunge extensions of the Penny gold mine, per the filing.
Shares rose 4% in morning trade Tuesday.
