Sarama Resources (ASX: SRR) has acquired a majority interest in the Mt Venn Gold Project in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Initial exploration at the project will be funded by the company's recent AU$2.7 million capital raise, the filing said.
