Motilal Oswal Financial Services (NSE:MOTILALOFS, BOM:532892) has appointed Suresh Sharma as chief information security officer of the company with effect from Thursday, according to a same-day disclosure to the Indian bourses.

Prior to joining, Sharma served as chief information security officer at PayU Payments.

The company's shares were down nearly 1% in recent trade.
