Sunac Services (HKG:1516) will extend the completion date of the disposal of an 80% equity stake in Guangxi Zhangtai Sunac Smart City Operation and Management by unit Rising Far (BVI) to Aug. 31 from July 15, a July 18 Hong Kong bourse filing said.
Shares of the property manager were up 1% in Monday afternoon trading.
The parties had first entered into the sale agreement in April.
If the sale is not completed by the new deadline, the parties may negotiate to further extend the deadline by Sept. 3. Failure to do so will terminate the contract.
