DeSoto Resources (ASX:DES) found high-grade gold mineralization during a recent drilling at its Tole, Dadjan, and Timbakouna Gold Projects, in Guinea, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
From the Tole gold project, the results were of up to eight meters at 18.03 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from the surface, including two meters at 71.20 g/t gold from the surface.
The company said it continues soil, rock chip, and dump sampling programs at Dadjan and Tole, particularly along strike from the identified gold anomaly.
The company's shares were up 17% in recent Monday trade.
