Freightos Ltd. has announced a new partnership with SriLankan Cargo, the air freight division of SriLankan Airlines, to enhance digital access to South Asian markets. Through this collaboration, SriLankan Cargo will join Freightos' WebCargo platform, enabling online booking and payment for air cargo services. This integration aims to improve access to Colombo, a key transshipment hub, and facilitate smoother connections between the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Europe. The partnership is set to launch later this quarter and will allow over 10,000 freight forwarding offices worldwide to instantly access and manage SriLankan's air freight capacity. Additionally, the integration introduces WebCargo Pay, providing non-IATA forwarders in Asia with access to SriLankan Cargo without the need for airline credit lines.
