Aboitiz Power (PSE:AP) unit Aboitiz Renewables and partners Sumitomo (TYO:8053) and J-Power won the bid for the Caliraya-Botocan-Kalayaan (CBK) hydropower complex.
The Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management issued the Notice of Award on Friday, according to a Monday Philippine Exchange filing.
The winning consortium, called Thunder, will now go through post-award processes.
The plant complex is part of the government's push to privatize energy assets.
