Technology stocks were mixed pre-bell Thursday with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) up 0.1% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) 0.4% lower recently.

STMicroelectronics (STM) shares were down more than 15% after the company reported lower Q2 non-GAAP earnings and net revenue.
