Many Peaks Minerals (ASX:MPK) said assays from air core reconnaissance drilling at the Ferké gold project in the Ivory Coast confirmed an extensive mineralized corridor, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The results refined targeting for further staged exploration at the project, advancing towards developing bulk tonnage exploration targets. It intersected gold on every drill traverse tested for over 9 kilometers.

It intersected intercepts of 15 meters at 0.72 grams-per-tonne grade of gold from nine meters and seven meters at 0.63 g/t grade of gold at end of hole.

It is conducting reverse circulation drilling at the project, and the drill plans were revised to include follow-up drilling on the results of the air core drilling.
