Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning India's (NSE:JCHAC, BOM:523398) net profit plunged to 152.5 million Indian rupees in the fiscal first quarter from 361.5 million rupees a year ago, according to an Indian bourse filing on Friday.
Earnings per share in the quarter ended June 30 slipped to 5.6 rupees from 13.3 rupees a year earlier.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q1 fell year on year to 8.53 billion rupees from 9.96 billion rupees, the filing said.
Shares of the company fell 1% in recent trade.
