Intellect Design Arena (NSE:INTELLECT, BOM:538835) saw an increase in its consolidated attributable profit to 944.9 million Indian rupees in the fiscal first quarter ended June 30, from 744.6 million rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share rose to 6.65 rupees compared with the year-ago figure of 5.25 rupees, the financial technology company said in a Friday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q1 also surged to 7.02 billion rupees from 6.06 billion rupees a year earlier.
The company's shares were down over 10% in recent trade.
