eClerx Services (NSE:ECLERX, BOM:532927) reported a growth in its consolidated attributable profit to 1.42 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal first quarter ended June 30, against 1.12 billion rupees a year earlier.
Earnings per share climbed to 29.64 rupees compared with the year-ago figure of 22.72 rupees, according to a post-market hours filing by the business operations services provider to the Indian stock exchanges.
The company's shares were up over 2% in recent trade.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q1 also increased to 9.35 billion rupees from 7.82 billion rupees a year earlier.
