Tanami Gold NL (ASX:TAM) said that drilling at its Central Tanami project in the Northern Territory has returned several "significant" intercepts, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
Drilling yielded 6.39 metres at 3.98 grams per tonne grade of gold from 371.9 metres and 2.17 metres at 6.94 g/t gold from 386.24 metres, the filing said.
Results from the drilling are due in the coming months, the filing added.
Shares of the company fell 5% in recent Friday trade.
