Renascor Resources (ASX:RNU) completed graphite concentrate production from a bulk sample of graphite ore collected from its Siviour deposit in South Australia, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The graphite concentrate, which will be used as feedstock for the company's government co-funded purified spherical graphite demonstration plant, was processed at a commercial graphite facility in China, the filing said.
The plant is set to start commissioning next quarter, with initial deliveries expected to arrive on schedule, per the filing.
Shares rose 9% in recent Friday trade.
