B.Duck Semk (HKG:2250) expects a 16% year-over-year decline in loss for the six months ended June 30 from HK$18.8 million a year prior, a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

The character intellectual property licensing firm attributed the forecast to a significant boost in royalty income from the character licensing business, increased design consultation service fees, and expanded e-commerce and other business income.
