Deckers Has Learned From Its Hoka Mistakes -- Market Talk

Dow Jones
2025/07/25

1111 ET - Disappointing rollouts of new Hoka models have stagnated the brand's explosive growth over the last few years. But Hoka's owner Deckers seems to have learned from its mistakes, say Raymond James analysts in a note. The company has said that it will better space out future launches and schedule them for particular shopping periods, cut the inventory of out-going models in the lead-up to updates and enhance the brand's direct-to-consumer loyalty program. The analysts note that the Bondi 9 and Clifton 10, both released this year, are driving strong re-orders across channels. (nicholas.miller@wsj.com)
