Brenmiller Energy Ltd., a leading global provider of Thermal Energy Storage (TES) solutions, has announced significant developments in its European projects. The European Hydrogen Bank has granted €25 million in funding to SolWinHy Cádiz S.L. in Spain. Brenmiller Energy's bGen TES system is expected to play a critical role in the project, with an estimated supply value of approximately €7 million. This system will enable off-grid green methanol production with real-time heat balancing, entirely without fossil fuels. Additionally, Brenmiller Europe S.L., a Spain-based joint venture, is set to supply distributed bGen™️ TES systems with a total electrical charge capacity of approximately 5 MWe, generating approximately €4 million in revenues. These projects are estimated to collectively avoid emitting 1.45 million tons of CO₂, marking a significant step forward in industrial decarbonization efforts across Europe.
