Granite Construction Inc. Secures Major Contracts for Garnet Valley Wastewater System Project WATSONVILLE, Calif.--Granite Construction Inc. $(GVA)$ has announced the acquisition of significant contracts valued at approximately $160 million and $70 million, respectively, for the Garnet Valley Wastewater System project. These contracts are part of a $230 million Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) agreement awarded by the Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA). This initiative forms a crucial component of a broader $900 million infrastructure project at the Apex Industrial Park, developed in collaboration with the City of North Las Vegas. The Garnet Valley project aims to maximize Southern Nevada's water resources by treating and recycling 99 percent of indoor water usage, contributing to sustainable resource development and reducing water demand on the Colorado River. The project includes the construction of 5 miles of gravity wastewater pipeline, 11 miles of force-main, and 3 large lift stations, with integration into the City of North Las Vegas treatment facilities. Construction commenced in June 2025, with an expected completion date in December 2027. These contracts were included in Granite's 2024 fourth quarter CAP.
