Challenger Gold (ASX:CEL) said the refurbishment of the Casposo plant in Argentina is progressing to plan with plant commissioning targeted during August and Austral Gold (ASX:AGD) is on track to commence toll processing of Hualilan gold project material under the toll milling agreement with Casposo Argentina Mining in November, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
Repair of the SAG mill engine and refurbishment of the primary crusher at the plant have been completed, and SAG mill relining is underway.
The agreement secures the processing of a minimum of 450,000 tonnes of near-surface Hualilan mineralized material over three years.
The firm's shares fell over 1% in recent trading on Wednesday.
