Notable developments in 2024 include exceeding 80% of the company's Planet Water goal, which aims to provide access to clean water for 100,000 people daily. Employees have also contributed over 6,100 volunteer hours. Additionally, Mountain Hardwear received recognition as Corporate Partner of the Year by Leave No Trace. The company reported a reduction in absolute energy consumption, with a decline of over 900,000 kilowatt hours and nearly 67,000 therms at its Oregon distribution center and headquarters between 2022 and 2024. The report also highlights the impact of the RISE initiative, which reached over 425 workplaces and over 375,000 workers, with more than 65% being women. Columbia Sportswear Company has conducted a Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) disclosure for 2024, aligning with industry-specific standards.
