Autohome Inc. has released its unaudited financial results for the second quarter of 2025, reporting a notable increase in its online marketplace and other revenues, which grew by 20.5% year-over-year. This growth was primarily attributed to the strong performance of its new retail business and the rapid rise in new energy vehicle revenues. The company's net income attributable to ordinary shareholders was RMB398.9 million ($55.7 million), down from RMB509.7 million in the second quarter of 2024. Basic and diluted earnings per share $(EPS)$ were RMB0.85 ($0.12), compared to RMB1.05 in the corresponding period of the previous year. Autohome's operating profit also saw a decline, reaching RMB296.6 million ($41.4 million), compared to RMB412.4 million in the same quarter of 2024. The income tax expense decreased to RMB60.6 million ($8.5 million) from RMB102.2 million in the prior year.
