Carnegie Clean Energy (ASX:CCE) said it will deploy a CETO wave energy convertor at the Biscay marine energy platform in Spain and its team has been focused on manufacturing and procuring all the necessary components for the ACHIEVE program CETO unit, including electrical, mechanical, structural, moorings, foundations, control, and sensors, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
Some components are fully fabricated and ready for integration, while the contracting and manufacturing stage for other components are facing delays.
Following unit completion, deployment will be scheduled subject to prevailing weather conditions, it added.
Pre-deployment activities have begun at the reserved berth at the Biscay marine energy platform.
