Philippines' producer price index (PPI) for manufacturing edged down 0.45% year on year in June, faster than the 0.38% drop in the month prior, data from the Philippine Statistics Authority showed Wednesday.
In June 2024, the index had slid 0.2%.
The faster decline was driven mainly by a faster annual drop in the PPI for the manufacture of computer, electronics and optical products industry division at 2.5% in June from a 2.1% drop in the month before, the data showed.
Month-on-month, the PPI climbed 0.1% in June.
