Insperity Inc., a leading human resources and business performance solutions provider, reported its second-quarter results for the period ending June 30, 2025. The company experienced a 3% year-over-year increase in revenues. However, it recorded a net loss of $5 million for the quarter. Adjusted EBITDA was reported at $32 million. The average number of paid worksite employees (WSEEs) for the quarter rose by 1% to 309,115. Despite the net loss, the year-to-date net income stood at $46 million, with an adjusted EBITDA of $134 million. Insperity's chairman and CEO, Paul J. Sarvadi, announced that the Insperity HR Scale, a joint solution with Workday, is targeted to go live with beta clients early next year, with sales and marketing efforts already underway. Operating expenses decreased by 3% to $230 million in Q2 2025 compared to Q2 2024. The company attributed the decrease in gross profit, from $260 million in Q2 2024 to $223 million in Q2 2025, primarily to higher-than-expected benefits costs, driven by elevated pharmacy trends and large claim activities.
