Antipa Minerals (ASX:AZY) said assays from the phase one drill program at its Minyari gold-copper project in Western Australia showed "meaningful" extensions to known mineralization at multiple deposit areas, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.

The program comprised a total of 304 holes for around 34,179 meters of air core, reverse circulation, and diamond core drilling, the filing said.

The results from the second batch of 54 holes completed as part of the program showed intercepts of 41 meters at 1.8 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold and 0.2% grade of copper from 98 meters, as well as 10 meters at 3.1 g/t grade of gold and 0.06% grade of copper from 149 meters.

The phase two drilling is set to start in mid-August, and it is planned to include 25,000 to 35,000 meters of air core, reverse circulation, and diamond core drilling, the filing said.

The company's shares were down 2% in recent Friday trade.
