1426 ET - Kimberly-Clark's efforts to adapt some of its best product features for its value tier are starting to pay off, CEO Mike Hsu says during a call with analysts. The company saw organic sales up 3.9% in its latest quarter, driven primarily by demand for new products, he says. Going forward, the company plans to bring its innovation efforts to the premium and mid-tier segments, which should drive further growth into the back half of the year, he says. "The consumption is very durable in our categories, and that's really driven by excellent innovation and excellent execution," he says. Kimberly-Clark up 4.5%. (kelly.cloonan@wsj.com)
