Internal combustion vehicles saw a 9.5% rise in July sales and a year-to-date growth of 6.0%. Among the vehicle types, SUVs reported a notable increase of 13.0% in July sales and a modest year-to-date growth of 1.9%. Trucks increased by 6.2% in July sales and 11.8% year-to-date. Meanwhile, car sales rose by 31.8% in July, although there was a 9.4% decline year-to-date. The Ford brand experienced a 9.5% increase in July sales, with year-to-date sales up by 6.8%. The Lincoln brand also saw growth, with a 4.7% increase in July sales and an 11.7% rise year-to-date. Specific models such as the Bronco and Explorer showed significant increases, with the Bronco up by 55.0% in July and the Explorer by 46.2%. In contrast, the Edge saw a drastic decline, with a 100% decrease in July sales. The F-Series, a staple in Ford's lineup, showed a 6.6% increase in July sales and a 15.4% rise year-to-date. The Mustang Mach-E, representing Ford's electric vehicle segment, grew by 15.6% in July, although its year-to-date growth was only 1.0%.
