Ghana's Parliament ratified the leases of Zijin Mining Group's (SHA:601899, HKG:2899) Akyem East and Akyem West gold mines, according to a Saturday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The company's shares on the Hong Kong and Shanghai bourses both rose less than 3% during Monday's morning trade.
The Akyem East and Akyem West leases are valid until Jan. 18, 2037, and Jan. 18, 2030, respectively, the Chinese mining company said.
