SK Telecom (KRX:017670) is currently carrying out the second phase of its "Mobile Service" program, after concluding the first phase at the end of June, the telecommunications firm said in a Tuesday press release.

The second phase, which will run through September, the company will extend the service to the elderly and people with mobility difficulties, the release said.

Shares of the company rose nearly 1% at market close.
