Birks Group Inc. has entered into a licensing agreement with Diamonds Direct® to operate the brand in the Greater Toronto Area through physical showrooms and across Canada via the brand's e-commerce platform. This agreement is part of Diamonds Direct®'s strategic expansion, which also includes exploring licensing opportunities in the United Kingdom, Mexico, Asia, and Europe, along with plans for Watches Direct® in the United States. The partnership has already led to the opening of new Diamonds Direct® storefronts at Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga and CF Sherway Gardens in Etobicoke, and a Watches Direct® concept at Yorkdale Shopping Centre in Toronto. Additionally, Diamonds Direct® has launched a new engagement ring line featuring a wide array of designs available both in-store and online.
