Cboe Global Markets, Inc., the leading derivatives and securities exchange network, has reported its trading volume statistics for July 2025, showcasing significant growth across its global business lines. The average daily trading volume $(ADV)$ for multiply-listed options increased by 9.6% compared to July 2024, reaching 12,215 contracts. Furthermore, Cboe Clear Europe saw a 16.2% rise in cleared trades, totaling 122,973, while net settlements grew by 20.9% to 1,236. In the U.S. Options segment, the S&P 500 Index $(SPX.UK)$ and Mini-SPX Index (XSP) options achieved record monthly volumes in zero-days-to-expiry (0DTE) trading, with ADVs of 2.2 million and 60 thousand contracts, respectively. The SPX options also recorded its third most active trading day ever on July 31, with 4.8 million contracts traded. European Equities experienced remarkable growth, hitting record market shares with 26.6% in overall trading and 34.7% in continuous trading. U.S. Equities also saw a substantial increase, with on-exchange matched shares rising by 39.9% to 1,790 million and off-exchange matched shares increasing by 84.8% to 141 million. Additionally, Canadian Equities matched shares grew by 22.4% to 150,096, while European Equities trading volume surged by 35.3% to €12,490 million.
