Uno Minda's (NSE:UNOMINDA, BOM:532539) consolidated attributable profit rose to 2.91 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal first quarter ended June 30, against 1.98 billion rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share came in at 5.05 rupees compared with 3.45 rupees a year earlier, the auto components manufacturer said in a filing to the Indian stock exchanges on Wednesday.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q1 also grew to 44.9 billion rupees from 38.2 billion rupees a year ago.
The company's shares were down 2% in recent trade.
