Piedmont Lithium (ASX:PLL) reported Friday a second-quarter adjusted loss of $0.35 per share, compared with a loss of $0.65 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.34.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $11.9 million, compared with $13.2 million a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $16 million.
The company said it expects to spend up to $1 million in capital expenditure in the third quarter. For the year, its capital expenditure guidance is in the range of $3 million to $5 million.
