China Display Optoelectronics Technology (HKG:0334) said it expects to report an increase in its first half profit, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Wednesday.
Shares of the LCD modules seller jumped over 11% in recent trade Thursday.
The company expects to report at least 48.8 million yuan in attributable profit for the six months ended June 30, compared to 7 million yuan in the year-ago period.
Revenue for the first six months of the year is expected to rise 70% year over year, according to the firm.
