AsiaInfo Technologies (HKG:1675) widened its attributable loss in the first half of 2025 to 198.3 million yuan from 59.5 million yuan in the year-ago period, a late Monday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.
Shares of the software provider were up 8% in Tuesday afternoon trading.
Loss per share rose to 0.22 yuan from 0.06 yuan in the corresponding period of the last year.
Revenue fell by 13% to 2.6 billion yuan from 2.99 billion yuan a year prior.
The firm attributed the results to the effect of ongoing cost reduction and efficiency enhancement in the telecommunications sector.
