CGN New Energy Holdings (HKG:1811) generated 1,731.3 gigawatt-hours of electricity in July, down 1.7% from a year earlier, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Mainland solar projects surged 60.3% year on year, gas-fired output rose 51.6%, and hydro generation increased 12.5%. Wind output in mainland China fell 8.1%, while Korean projects dropped 15.5%.
In the seven months ended July, solar generation in mainland China rose 19.7% and wind output gained 2.2%. Hydro declined 19.9%, gas-fired generation increased 4.8%, and Korean projects fell 10.3% from a year earlier.
Shares of the company were up nearly 1% in recent trade.
