Peninsula Energy (ASX:PEN) and its wholly owned subsidiary, Strata Energy, received approval from Wyoming's uranium recovery program to begin start-up of phase two of the central processing plant at the Lance project in Wyoming, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The firm can now start processing uranium captured on resin in the plant as it moves towards producing dried yellowcake in the September quarter.
No further regulatory approvals are required to commence commercial production, it added.
