Pacific Lime and Cement (ASX:MRL), formerly Mayur Resources, will begin trading under its new name and ASX code "PLA" at the start of trading on Aug. 12, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The name and code change highlight the company's successful shift from a resource developer to an integrated supplier of building and industrial materials, the filing said.
