NuEnergy Gas (ASX:NGY) completed the drilling for TE-B06-003 coal bed methane well within its Tanjung Enim production sharing contract plan of development 1 contract area, in South Sumatra, Indonesia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The well was drilled to a depth of 420 meters, and five coal seams were intersected at depths ranging between 248 meters and 371 meters. The presence of methane was confirmed across multiple seams.
NuEnergy installed a progressive cavity pump system for the TE-B06003 well. Gas will be gathered at the surface facility and delivered to the gas processing facility upon reaching target production levels.
