Nextracker, a leading solar technology platform provider, has announced its selection by Casa dos Ventos, one of Brazil's largest renewable energy companies, to supply 1.5 gigawatts (GW) of NX Horizon-XTR all-terrain solar tracker and NX Horizon™ solar tracker systems. This supply is for a portfolio of four new utility-scale solar and hybrid solar-and-wind projects in Brazil. This partnership marks Casa dos Ventos's first utility-scale solar deployment and aligns with its strategy to develop hybrid power plants that integrate solar and wind energy. The projects aim to optimize grid capacity in Brazil's constrained transmission landscape, with three of the four projects deploying the NX Horizon-XTR systems designed for challenging terrains. All sites will feature Nextracker's TrueCapture yield management system to enhance energy generation through advanced sensor technology and machine learning.
