Dollar General Corporation has announced a voluntary recall of three lots of its Clover Valley® Instant Coffee due to the potential presence of glass fragments. The recall affects 8-ounce packages with lot numbers L-5163, L-5164, and L-5165, with best-by dates of December 13 and 14, 2026. These products were sold between July 9 and July 21, 2025, exclusively at Dollar General stores across multiple states. While no injuries have been reported, ingesting glass fragments could cause serious harm, including damage to teeth and internal injuries. Customers are advised to discard the product and can request a full refund by contacting Dollar General customer service. The company is investigating the source of the contamination and apologizes for the inconvenience.
