Aug 13 - (The Insurer) - Insurance provider for security and alarm industry the Mechanic Group has appointed Candace Chieppo as its new practice leader.

In her new role, Chieppo will be responsible for delivering coverage and service to the MGA's independent agents, while driving strategic initiatives and client engagement.

She has 27 years of industry experience. Most recently, she was the assistant director at Hudson Insurance Group, an Odyssey Group company

She has also worked at Victor U.S., Travelers, Northland Insurance Group, Lockton and Marsh, among others.

The Mechanic Group was acquiredby Specialty Program Group in 2019.
