Aug 13 (Reuters) - Australia's AGL Energy AGL.AX posted a 21.2% drop in its full-year underlying profit on Wednesday, hurt by lower wholesale electricity prices and consumer margins.
The power producer posted an underlying profit of A$640 million ($417.79 million) for the year ended June 30, lower than the A$812 million reported a year ago.
That missed the Visible Alpha consensus estimate of A$653.2 million.
