Perpetual Resources (ASX:PEC) said it found the presence of visible spodumene within large pegmatite intersections from drilling at the South East anomaly at the Igrejinha project in Brazil, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
Five of the six holes drilled intersected broad zones of pegmatite from two parallel structures. The results confirmed strike continuity of the pegmatite over at least 60 meters, with the orientation and true widths of the pegmatites yet to be confirmed.
It completed all geological logging from the maiden drill program at its Brazil project. The anomaly is considered a primary target for follow-up drilling in subsequent drill programs.
